Ashridge Group have a new opportunity: We are seeking a Facilities Security Officer to join our team on a Permanent contract working Monday to Friday [08:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs], with opportunity for overtime. This is currently an extra requirement for the college but is looking to go on long term.

This vacancy is ideal for someone who enjoys a being at the forefront of the company, the face of an organisation, being first point of contact for all foot flow entering the premises and providing outstanding customer service!

This position will allow you to work to work as part of a friendly experienced team.

Location: Milton Keynes MK6

Pay Rate: £9.00 Per hour

Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 hrs / Monday – Friday

Duties:

  • Building unlocks or lockups
  • Front of house duties
  • site foot patrols during shift
  • Reviewing and monitoring CCTV movement
  • Responding and escalating to incidents across the campus
  • Assisting the facilities department with a varied task
  • Completing Daily Check sheets validating compliance
  • Ensuring the students have a safe environment
  • Reporting all Health and Safety concerns
  • Protecting the client’s property from any damage, vandalism or theft

Requirements:

  • [Essential] Valid SIA Licence
  • [Essential] Full 5 Years employment/education history.
  • [Preferred] Valid Driving Licence
  • [Preferred] First Aid Trained (Certified)
  • [Preferred] Experience within an Educational environment
  • [Preferred] Excellent customer service skills
  • [Preferred] Clear and direct commutation skills [Written and verbal]

  • security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA Licence (required)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
