Introduction

This privacy policy explains how Ashridge Group Ltd collects, uses and protects any information you give us when you use this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any information by which you can be identified will only be used in accordance with this policy and UK data protection law.

We may update this policy from time to time by revising this page; the date of the most recent update is shown at the top. This policy was first issued on 18 April 2016.

Who we are

Ashridge Group Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08129423), with our registered office at 3 Liscombe South, Liscombe Park, Soulbury, Buckinghamshire LU7 0JL.

If you have any questions about this policy, or you want to exercise any of your rights, contact us through our enquiry form or on 0800 085 5022.

What information we collect

We may collect and process the following information:

  • your name and job title
  • contact details, including your email address and telephone number
  • company or organisation details where you contact us in a business capacity
  • information relevant to your enquiry or to the services you ask us about
  • technical information such as your IP address and how you use our website, collected through cookies where you have consented (see “How we use cookies” below)

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request
  • manage our relationship with you and keep proper business records
  • improve our website, services and customer experience
  • send you marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them
  • keep our website and operations secure and meet our legal obligations

Lawful bases for using your information

Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent — for sending you marketing communications and for setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Contract — where we need to process your information to provide a service you have asked for.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, to run and improve our business, and to keep our website secure, provided your rights do not override those interests.
  • Legal obligation — where we must keep records or share information to comply with the law.

Marketing

We will only send you marketing communications if you have asked us to or have otherwise agreed to receive them. Every marketing message includes an easy way to opt out, and you can ask us to stop at any time by contacting us. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required to by law.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, including to meet any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. In practice this is usually no longer than six years after our relationship with you ends, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer. When we no longer need your information we will securely delete or anonymise it.

Security

We are committed to keeping your information secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

How we use cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences and — where you allow it — let us understand how the site is used.

When you first visit ashridge-group.com you will see our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are switched off by default and are only set if you choose to turn them on. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or through your browser settings.

We group the cookies we use into three categories.

Strictly necessary cookies

Always active. Required for the website to function and stay secure. They do not track you for advertising.

Cookie Provider Purpose Expires
ag_consent Ashridge Group (first party) Remembers your cookie consent choices so we do not ask you again on every visit 180 days
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* WordPress (first party) Only set if you sign in to manage the website; keep you logged in and remember your admin screen options Session to 1 year

Analytics cookies (set only with your consent)

These help us see which pages are useful so we can improve the site. They are not active unless you accept analytics cookies.

Cookie Provider Purpose Expires
_ga, _ga_<ID> Google Analytics Measures how visitors use the site, using aggregated, non-identifying data Up to 2 years

Marketing cookies (set only with your consent)

These let us measure how well our advertising performs. They are only set if you turn marketing cookies on.

Cookie Provider Purpose Expires
_gcl_au Google (Ads) Measures the performance of our advertising campaigns 90 days

Some of these cookies are provided by Google. Where Google cookies are set, Google may process data outside the UK under its own privacy policy and safeguards. You can read Google’s policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website working.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. Once you use these links to leave our site, we have no control over those websites and cannot be responsible for the protection or privacy of any information you provide. Those sites are not governed by this policy, so you should check the privacy statement of each website you visit.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (a subject access request) — free of charge
  • have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
  • ask us to erase your information, or to restrict or object to how we use it
  • ask us to transfer your information to another organisation
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our enquiry form or on 0800 085 5022. We will respond within one month.

If you have any concerns about how we handle your personal information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We keep this policy under regular review. Any changes will be published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.

Document control: This page is the authoritative version. The last update was made on 22 June 2026.
