Ashridge Group is an SIA Approved Contractor and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Cyber Essentials Plus, each audited by an independent body. We are also qualified for utilities and rail work and are a Crown Commercial Service supplier. Certificates are available on request.

Security Industry Authority
Our security guarding is assessed every year against the SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme, which looks at how the company is managed, how we serve clients and how we treat our staff. In 2017 we recorded our highest ACS score, five points up on 2016.

Our security dog teams work to BS 8517-1 for general purpose dogs and BS 8517-2 for detection dogs.

Yes. Ashridge Group is an SIA Approved Contractor for security guarding, reference ELSELISC02. You can check our current status on the SIA’s public register of approved contractors. Approval is reassessed every year against the Approved Contractor Scheme standard.
Yes. For supplier onboarding, tenders or due diligence we can send current certificates for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Cyber Essentials Plus and our other accreditations, along with our insurance schedule. Ask through our contact page or call 0800 085 5022.
Every security officer is screened to BS 7858 before they start. Our guarding and patrols follow BS 7499, key holding and alarm response follow BS 7984, and our security dog teams work to BS 8517-1 and BS 8517-2 through our NASDU membership.
Yes. Since September 2023 Ashridge Group has been a supplier on Crown Commercial Service agreement RM6264, the Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS, which covers security and manned guarding. It gives public sector bodies a compliant route to buy, and runs until February 2029.
No. Waking watch is a fire safety role, so our waking watch officers are trained fire marshals rather than security guards. Every one holds fire marshal, fire safety awareness and extinguisher training, plus First Aid at Work. SIA licensing applies to our security officers.
