A live re-commissioning programme on operational energy infrastructure means constant contractor movement and entry points that change from week to week. Security had to hold on a site that would not stand still.
We partnered with a site-security technology specialist to provide around-the-clock, high-resilience cover at both stations.
With our officers on site, supported by surveillance and access technology, we established strict control over a site facing regularly changing entry and exit points and heavy contractor access.
We stayed for seven years. Over that period we delivered more than 240,000 hours of security cover across the two stations — a continuous presence for the length of the programme, not a series of short deployments. That length of tenure is the point: officers who have worked a site for years know which access route is being used this month and who should be on it.
We implemented a defence-in-depth strategy, with layered measures delivering the level of security required to protect the client’s assets.
