We provided security and front-of-house cover for Experian UK, a FTSE 100 credit reference agency, from 2018 to 2022 — a 22-strong team across two Nottingham sites including its data centre, a 24/7 control room managing access control for 20 UK locations, and SIA-licensed receptionists across two London offices.
Experian UK needed security across its Nottingham data centre and headquarters, and front-of-house cover at its London offices — protecting a credit reference agency’s most sensitive infrastructure while keeping access straightforward for Experian’s own staff and visitors.
Access control at the data centre had to operate within Experian’s ISO 27001 information security management system, the standard that governs how the company protects the data it holds.
We provided 24/7 static guarding across two Nottingham sites — Fairham House, Experian’s data centre on the Ruddington Fields Business Park, and the Sir John Peace Building on Experian Way, its Nottingham headquarters — with a team of 22 officers led by one security supervisor and one security manager.
From the Nottingham control room, staffed around the clock, we managed access control for 20 Experian UK locations nationally, giving the client a single point of oversight across the estate rather than site-by-site management. Officer vetting and access-control procedures at the data centre operated to the ISO 27001 information security standard Experian’s own systems were certified against.
At Experian’s London offices, including its Cardinal Place site on Victoria Street, we provided four SIA-licensed receptionists across two locations, combining front-of-house service with a security-trained presence.
The engagement ran for just over four years, from October 2018 to November 2022 — continuous guarding across both Nottingham sites, 24/7 access-control oversight for Experian’s 20 UK locations, and front-of-house cover at its London offices throughout.
