Pharmacies and doctors’ surgeries across a number of NHS trusts needed alarm response cover for high-risk premises. Ashridge Group provided 24-hour key holding and mobile response, acting as the point of contact for emergency services and handling incidents overnight and at weekends without calling staff out.
A number of pharmacies and doctors’ surgeries required security measures to limit the risk of theft from high risk environments. A responsive service to alarm systems would be essential to guarantee that premises remained secure and emergencies were responded to efficiently in the event of an incident such as a break-in or fire.
Ashridge Group supplied 24-hour key holding and mobile response services to various locations. Alarmed activation response mechanisms were implemented and the company acted as a point of contact for appropriate emergency services liaisons.
Ashridge Group responded to multiple incidents, often alarm faults, negating the need to interrupt the lives of employees. This granted peace of mind over night and at weekends, with clients resting assured that any problems would be responded to quickly and efficiently.
We hold keys for NHS pharmacies and doctors’ surgeries and respond to alarm activations 24 hours a day, so that clinical staff are not called out overnight to attend their own premises. The value of the service is measured in the call-outs staff did not have to make.
Mobile officers attend alarm activations around the clock. On healthcare sites the response covers checking the premises, dealing with the cause where it is something we can resolve, and reporting back — rather than simply confirming an alarm sounded and leaving it for the practice to handle in the morning.
Not in this case. Some clients are happy to be named and some are not, and where an engagement stays anonymised we describe it by sector instead. The NHS pharmacy and surgery work is published without naming the individual trusts involved.
